Lovely 10kt Amethyst Heart Cut Gem Bezel Set Deco Style Bracelet. This is a great bracelet. It has 7 heart shaped amethyst gem stones, each set in a bezel setting connected by decorative slightly curved gold bars with a lovely art deco scroll design. This is so unique compared to typical tennis bracelets. First because it has heart cut stones and bezel settings, not pave' and prongs and second because it has bars with feminine engraving connecting the stones not chain links. The effect is lovely.The bracelet is 7.25 inches long. It is 6mm wide where the hearts are and roughly 3mm wide where the bars are. It weighs a substantial 7.44 grams. The bracelet is 10kt and is clearly hallmarked 10kt. It has a sturdy, secure lobster claw clasp. This clasp "may" be 14kt (common with bracelets) since the hallmark is not readable. I am pricing the gold as though it is all 10kt.At today's gold value (04/06/13) of $1581.30 per ounce, the gold scrap melt value of the bracelet is $157.62 not evening including the7 gem stonesor it's finished jewelry value!!
