Antique Victorian Bohemian Art Glass Pitcher

  • Pitcher is blown of the most beautiful jewel-tone shade of alexandrite spreading to opalescent.
  • Applied handle is colourless with a \"reeded\" decor pattern.
  • The pitcher has three sections of applied \"seaweed\" branches connecting to three, claw-type feet that serve as the footed base.
  • The opaque colour of the applied decoration is cased glass with opal white over clear.
  • Snapped pontil on the base of the pitcher.
  • Excellent Condition.Extremely large size, and heavy in weight. Over 4 pounds of glass.
  • Victorian era, 1880-90. Early Loetz or Harrach to behold. Jewel tone colours. No detail was spared.
  • 11-5/8\" tall.
  • Rim with spout is 5-3/8\" diameter.
  • The base is 5\" diameter.
