Presented is an old set of solid sterling silver dessert knives made by Whiting.
This set is in the Armor pattern, which was patented in 1871. This is an old,
original set that was made in 1871 or within a couple years of the patent. Each
knife handle and blade are made from solid sterling silver. Each handle has some
lovely leaf accents and is engraved with a monogram of the initials AFP.

This set is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age. There are
no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each knife measures 8 1/4 inches long and the combined weight of the set is
