DESCRIPTION AND COMMENTS
This lot is one (1) commercially used 11 cent blue & red Stylized Eagle &
Flag Air Postal Card issued on January 4, 1974 -- identified as Scott Number UXC14. It was postmarked on September 27, 1974, clearly within
the proper period for usage. Is was sent by Joseph F. Bronsky of Milwaukee, Wisconsin to R. Emmet McKeague in Superior, Wisconsin. It is
very clean with good corners, clean postmark ties franking, no creases, bends, or unexplained stray marks.
The card has a very interesting handstamped return address
with the seal of the Catholic Order of Foresters. The sender was State Secretary. Interestingly, the card was addressed using a
metal plate addressing machine such as an Addressograph.
The reverse is filled completely with a typewritten personal
letter dated September 26, 1974, the day before it was postmarked, and hand signed by 'Joe'.
As a free bonus to all buyers of philatelic material, collectible
stamps will be used to mail all of my philatelic sale lots.
THE SELLER
JEFFREY L ORREN
SAINT PAUL MN USA
I am not a professional stamp dealer. I have been collecting off and on
since the late Fifties. I started collecting as a child, put it off for a number of years after high school, and started again in my thirties
(already a long time ago).
Selling stamps is not even a part-time business for me.
I sold over 2,000 lots of my collection in the late 1990's on . It
worked out well for me, but I stopped when I started a new job. Retirement came along so I started selling again in 2013.
For those of you who might be interested, I am also selling some antique
porcelain items on . I have been listing some oyster plates and other antiques that I inherited from my mother. She spent many years accumulating well over
100 antique fine China oyster plates, which became the "Charlotte H. Orren
Collection of Fine China Oyster Plates".

HOW THE sale WORKS
This is an unreserved sale sponsored by Jeffrey L. Orren
in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I do not offer a buy now price. The sale lasts for seven days. If you have any questions at all, please
email me before offerding. I want the buyers to understand exactly what they are offerding on. I do my best to accurately describe the items
offered. I use reference material when available, and I note the references when used.
The winning buyer should use the checkout. I will make
email contact as soon as I can after the sale closes. I require that the buyer use PayPal to pay for the item(s) purchased. Once the
payment is received on my PayPal account, I can mail the item the next time I go to the Post Office.
Since I am not a professional at this, I am not set up to accept
any credit cards directly from buyers. The only way to pay is PayPal. You can use a credit card to pay for item(s) purchased on through
PayPal. The latest rules make the PayPal requirement necessary for me.
I use the United States Postal Service exclusively to deliver my
sales. It is much simpler for me than UPS or FedEx,and the service is excellent. I mailed over 2,000 lots of postage stamps I sold
on and did not have one loss of any kind.
I am obsessive about packaging safety. Each item will arrive with
cardboard backing and packed securely in an envelope. All buyers are covered by /PayPal Buyer Protection. This is effectively
your insurance coverage as a buyer. I may elect to insure a shipment, but it will be at the seller's and for the seller's benefit.
There will be additional postage and handling charges to mail to Canada.
Any loss or damage
in shipment is the responsibility of the buyer through the /PayPal Buyer Protection. I will assist the buyer any way I can in filing
an online claim with /PayPal Buyer Protection.
Anything you purchase from me on is covered by my 100%
NO QUESTIONS ASKED return policy. If you want to return an item for any reason at all, just send me an email and I will send you complete
return instructions. After the item has been returned to me in the same condition it was purchased, I will see to it that you receive a
PayPal credit immediately. While I do not require an explanation for returns, if there is a reason it would be helpful for me to know it.
Return postage and insurance is the responsibility of the buyer.
I reserve the right to cancel any offers placed by persons
with an response Rating of less than 10, or anyone with excessive negatives.
I should be able to ship most lots within three
days after I receive payment. Since this is only a hobby for me, sometimes shipping isn't quite that fast, but in every case I
mail as soon as I can.
As a free bonus to all buyers of philatelic material, collectible
stamps will be used to mail all of my philatelic sale lots.
In the very unlikely event that there is any kind of disagreement between
myself and a buyer, we should use email or telephone discussions to resolve the problem before it escalates into a dispute. If we cannot resolve
our positions, we will use the Dispute Resolution process. As a long time seller with a great response record that I have devoted a lot
of time to maintaining, I will do almost anything to avoid and then resolve any possible disagreement before it escalates into a dispute.
