11 Colour Dogic - Ultra Rare Mint Condition Meffert's- Rubik's Cube Type Puzzle For Sale
11 Colour Dogic by Mefferts
ITEM DETAIL This is an 11 colour Mefferts Dogic. These puzzles were never sold complete and assembled. Instead Uwe Meffert sold 11 colour tile sets which collectors could use to modify there existing Dogics. For this reason they are much rarer than the other Dogics.
The 11 colour version is somewhat unusual in it's colouring. Usually the Dogics were coloured in a logical way. Each corner or each side had a different colour for example. On this though ten colours appear once on each corner but white appears twice. I have no idea why Uwe decided to introduce this version.
The puzzle is in mint condition and has never been used apart from for the demo video (see above). It does not come in any kind of official packaging since Uwe Meffert never produced any. He sold them loose to save costs. As you can hear in the video Uwe has said he will never make more of these since it is too complex, too expensive and there is not enough interest. Unless he can sell several thousand at a very high price it's simply not worth his while. In addition no other company has thought them viable either. They have had ample opportunity over the years to make them but never have. So this is a very rare chance to add this puzzle to your collection.
Please note: ALL Mefferts Dogics carry a design flaw which means they pop very easily. Please take this into account when buying. Movement in general is not great.
All photos plus the video show the actual puzzle I am selling. I do not own any more 11 colour Dogics so there will be no second chance offer.
