An original lot of around11 World War Two letters witten by Private Cortland Kester. Most include the envelopes.10 are dated/postmarked 1943 to 1944, and one doesn't have a year. I have a internet article that says Private Kester was in the 60th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in battle and was awarded the purple heart.I can provide the winning buyer a copy of this article or direct them to the website. I currently have other items listed that belonged to Private Kester. The letters were sent from Fort McClellan, Alabama.
Overall the letters are in very good condition, some have some wear.
