A group of rare and beautiful, antique Venetian biconical King beads paired with antique Bohemian/Czech Prosser beads in an amber yellow color--often used by designers as an inexpensive substitute for natural amber beads--a wonderful combination of shapes & colors--great patina & tremendous character due to age and tribal use! King beads were reserved exclusively for the use of tribal kings and were traded for gold--this has been recorded on a sample card in The British Museum--King beads are important and valuable trade beads:) Great beads for the jewelry designer and the collector!

6 King beads: Approx. 15-18 mm between perforations, 16-17.5 mm in diameter

6 Prosser beads: Approx. 5.5-8 mm between perforations, 8-9 mm in diameter
