12th Century Islamic Persian Khorasan / Khorassan Bronze Oil Lamp

This is an excellent12thcentury (not a later copy)Khorassan bronze oil lamp. With delicate script & patterns visible below the very rich verdigris green patination.

CONDITION All original, no damage. The verdigris is an emerald green & extremely pretty.

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
