The first three (1870, 1872 & 1874) were professionally whizzed sometime long ago. Nevertheless, they are well-detailed, display attractive toning, and strong eye appeal.
About half the others were dipped and/or cloth-wiped in the past. Those show somewhat glossy/lighter surfaces.
Fortunately, the key date 1880 looks original, not doctored.
Overall, even with the "improvement" efforts, it's an exceptional group.
