Iam pleased to offer youthis wonderful "Flirty" eye baby doll "Tickletoes". Incised on the back of her head is "Ideal in a diamond with USA on the four outside corners". I do not know her past history but online dollreference.com tells me she was made by Ideal in 1927 with cloth stuffed legs and rubber arms, photo is shown of this doll.I will try to describe her the best I can. Measures 16" tall with flange composition head (no cracks or chips) on cloth stuffed body with rubber arms. The arms need restoration or replaced, they are worn with thumb and finger missing on the right hand, the left hand shows a finger tip missing (see photo #7). There is a non-working crier in her back. Beautiful face with open and close blue tin sleepy eyes that work fine, they are also "flirty" eyes that move from side to side. Remains of painted upper lashes above the right eye, she has single stroke brown brows, open mouth with two upper painted teeth. Lovely blush on the cheeks with a "dimple" in each cheek to accent her overall charm. I see no paint rubs or scracthes on her face. Painted slightly molded dark blonde hair with minimum wear. "Tickletoes" wears I believe her original organdy dress, slip and matching bonnet. Minor wear on her dress with pin closure only on the back, the ribbon on her bonnet is torn and may need replaced. She wears stockings and knit booties on her feet. Included with her isa little teddy bear.I have taken plenty of photos,please look at my photos as they will serve as part of this description.
