The Royalist John Price was the Chaplain of George Monck, the Duke of Albemarle and Captain General of all the King’s Land Forces. Privy to all the Secret Passages and Particularities of that Glorious Revolution which restored Charles II as King of England, Scotland and Ireland after years of English Civil War. Monck played a pivotal role in the Restoration of Charles II, the whole event here fascinatingly recounted in this 1680 First Edition by the eye witness John Price: The Mystery and Method of His Majesty’s Happy Restauration, Laid Open to Publick View.
