The following titles represent 40 years collecting early sound classics, comedy, drama, mystery, horror, silent feature films and a huge assortment of various rare cartoons and shorts. We are proud to present the following title from this group as our liquididation sale that will continue for several weeks to come! Not too many opportunities like this occur anymore so enjoy a unique chance to grab one or more of these great titles. "THUNDERBALL" This is the fourth James Bond film. Leonard Maltin in his "Classic Movie Guide" says: "Plenty of gimmicks, and Oscar-winning special effects, as world is threatened with destruction...Celi makes a formidable Bond villain." This film would be remade 18 years later, again with Sean Connery, as "Never Say Never Again."

ADDITIONAL 'CONDITION/DESCRIPTION' STATEMENT: The opening of this print is missing a minute or so (no logo or iris opening) and literally begins with Bond's adversary (dressed as a woman) entering the parlor but with COMPLETE fight sequence and beyond. The first reel ends with the girl rolling the motorcycle into the pond and reel 2 opens with the first few seconds missing (just the assembling of the agents in the conference room). Additional footage (3-4 minutes) is missing from the shark pool sequence. Bond is lurking about at night (after the power cut) and the print jumps to the last seconds of Bond underwater struggling to get out from the pool covering. The final missing segment occurs from where the massive paratroop drop begins to the sequence underwater where Bond eliminates three divers with a grenade inside the "locker" on the ocean floor (followed by the gag with the foot gear floating up toward the surface). We can't say enough about how the rest of the print is surprisingly clean with just minimal light line surface wear and scattered splices (many due to the 10 lab sections). Many stretches of this print are splice-free with UNBELIEVEABLE color, including the ENTIRE credit sequence (this part is phenominal!). This print INCLUDES EXIT MUSIC which is nearly complete (final few seconds missing). How RARE is this title to turn up on ? On 3 nearly full 1600' reels with each reel's running time marked (@ 120 of 129 minutes).
