This comprehensive set of 17 hardcover volumes reproduces many of the greatest classic comic strips of the early 20th century in American newspapers. (One volume "Thimble Theater withPopeye" is a softcover edition.)
These volumes are all pat of "The Hyperion Library of Classic American Comic Strips." They are first editions published by Hyperion Press in 1977. Each is in near-mint condition -- and each measures 11 x 9 inches or 10 x 7 inches. Page length for each volume is listed below.
The B&W reproductions are the very finest available. Very clear, fresh-looking and readable. And man, are they terrific comic strips -- many of which you be familiar with.
