Here is an old antique Greiner type doll looking for a home to provide a little TLC. I do not know her past history, or maker but will try to describe her the best I can. Reference shows similar dolls made in the mid to late 1800s by various German Firms. Measures 17\" tall being a papier-mâché shoulder head, bisque hands with molded fingers intact, with worn old leather and cloth body. Body needs a little restoration on the upper back leather and throughout. The upper arms at the shoulder areas also require a little restoration as well. Her shoulder head is all intact but worn, scuffed and shows paint loss throughout, see photos. Lady has painted brown eyes, brown brows and closed mouth. Has molded painted dark blonde hair with ringlets of curls. Wears a vintage dress, slip and pantalooons, no stockings or shoes. This early old doll would be a wonderful with restoration.
