Description of item for sale:
This Louis XV period antique cabinet is from France and it dates to the late 1700’s. It is quite unusual for the time period and it’s very practical as a bookcase or display cabinet. It also has a great modern use as a cabinet for a flat screen television. It is a wonderful compromise in size: big enough to have good usable space but not so large that it overwhelms a room. The wood is beautifully patinated with great texture and a warm natural oak color. It is in very good antique condition considering that it is 200+ years old. There are minor repairs, chips, discolorations and scratches consistent with its age (see photos). There is also a small piece of trim missing from the left foot and some wear around the keyholes. There is no woodworm or dry rot. Dimensions: 80” high, 54” wide and 18” deep. The usable space (a rectangle) for a television is 42” wide and 32” high.

All are white glove (fully insured, blanket wrap, all handling by hand with experienced antique specialists and delivery to the location where you want in your home). Delivery will take 3 to 6 weeks depending on your location. Charges are as follows.

Zone 2: 125 (Washington, Oregon and California)
Zone 3: $325 (Continental USA, all states except Zones 1, 2 and 4)
