1792, Revolutionary War, Pay Settlement, Rhode Island, Colonel Eliot's Regiment For Sale
This is a wonderful, original document dated 1791, where Tristam Dickens, now in Connecticut, but formerly of Colonel Eliot's Rhode Island Regiment , has agreed to take what depreciated pay is due him by the Rhode Island Legislature and requests merchant Hezekia Kilbey get these funds. Signed on front by Tristam Dickens, Paul Wheeler, Paul Rhodes and Joseph Clarke. Signed on back by Hezekia Kilbey, Jonathan Huntington, Nabby Pierce, Justinian Holden, William Hall and Gould Coggs. Document is 8x12, bottom did not quite fit on my scanner.overall very good condition.
