A beautiful signed & dated ubu zaimei Shinto O-Wakizashi

Long Wakizashi in full polish

Long & wide thick & stout robust blade

Blade is mounted in a superb Koshirai

Blade jidai (era) : Shinto period 17th century, Keian era August 1651

Signed : Bishu Osafune Hichibejo Sukesada

Tang : Ubu 1 hole, 5-3/4"

Total blade length : 29"

Blade thickness at the habaki notch : 7.1mm

Width at the habaki :1-3/16"

Width at the Yokote level : 13/16" Kissaki/point : 1-1/4" Sori/curve : 5/8"

Hamon/temper line :Hamon is a beautiful well controlled & very active wide sugu-notare-ba on both side

Hada/grain : well forged Itame mix

Kissaki/point : strong point with big Boshi/turn-backon both side

Blade exhibit some beautiful & very clear activity's all over-it

Blade condition: full polish

Guaranty against fatal flaw like crack/hagire & shinai with no chip no bend mix with some minor small flaw/ware
