A handsome well preserved turkish, ottoman, islamic sword circa mid 1800\'s... Antique and authentic from a dealer. The inlaid silver \"koftgari\" is faded from use but can be seen in the last photo. It\'s approximately 30 1/4\" long. The scabbard is about 27 3/4\" long. The sword has been notched, probably indicating its effectiveness. The handle appears to have a fracture through the nail, please see pics. Also there appear to be some silver colored repairs to the leather scabbard. The sword itself is very sharp.
