c. 1853-78 Meriden (B)ritannia Company Condiment Server Castor Cruet Set Beaver Figure w/ Etched Glass Bottles

This is an very early Meriden Britannia Marked with the scales.

Based on the marking on top of the revolving tray (bottle holder) the marking dates to roughly 1853-1878.

This has wear to some areas of the plating, which you can see in the pictures. This should be expected considering its age.

The entire piece measures 16 ½” tall and the base measures 5 ½.

There is not a number stamped near the Meriden mark. There is a 77 marked on the base.

I have looked online and I am yet to locate one with this beaver figure.

The bottle holder ring turns freely.

This has 4 out of the 5 bottles. I didn’t notice any chips on any of the bottles.
