1800's Oil Painting A fine oil painting of Daniel O'Connell (“The Liberator”) 1775-1847.
Set in an ornate gilded frame the painting captures the perceptive countenance of the great man.

He held outdoor rallies up and down the country giving great speeches
on the lack of rights of the Irish citizen.

Irish Catholic of a priest to give a blessing at his burial.
There was no place of burial for Catholics until he established Glasnevin Cemetery
