1833 President Andrew Jackson Second Inauguration Silver Political Medal Token For SaleJust out of a local house is this Rare political medal commemorating the Second Inauguration of President Andrew Jackson issued by the US Mint in 1833. It is the silver version.The front shows the left facing bust of Andrew Jackson.The reverse has the wording "And. Jackson Inaugurated President" surrounding "U.S. Second Term Mar. IV 1833" with a scroll decoration and a small bow and arrow pointing at the date.The medal measures a little less than 3/4 inch or about 18mm. It is in remarkable condition with some mirror field and toning. We do not grade our coins or medals so check the photos for condition.This example is the first original issue of this medal. Restrikes from the original dies were made in October 1861 at the US Mint. They have the same obverse but the reverse is different and it does not have the milled or collared edge.Would make a nice addition to any collection.Guaranteed old and as described.
