1834 Bristol England Ship Stampless To Bengal Light Cavalry In India Long Letter For Sale

Postal History LONG and detailed 3+ page stampless folded letter sent from a lady in Bristol, England (July 5, 1834) to her brother stationed in India and serving with the 9th Bengal Light Cavalry (see link content - talking about family news, gossip about a wedding, and much more. The letter is written in cross hatching style (both horizontally and vertically) to maximize space. It looks unreadable at first glance, but upon careful study, you will be able to figure it out. Takes someone with more time and patience than me, so I am selling as is. Winning buyer should be greatly rewarded.Impressive postal markings including SHIP markings from Bristol and a London Paid Ship Letter red oval, and a large red Calcutta transit. I can't make out the final destination - "India" was crossed out so I don't know if the town was not in India or if the letter was forwarded. An India postal history expert should enjoy researching this one.Lovely red wax seal remains.Letter fully intact and in great shape.
