1837 Martin Van Buren President Signed Land Deed Alabama:
$34

Here is a TERRIFIC 10 X 16 inch Martin Van Buren Signed Presidential Land Grant from 1837 for land in Alabama. It is ornately written and signed FOR the President by his personal secretary, most likely his son. The autograph signature is ORNATE. We have handled several of these and I can assure the buyer that the handwriting on this is spectacular and a lost art as this is one of the finest we have ever seen. The grant is on heavy vellum stock in decent shape that has the normal fold lines from being safely tucked away in the Land Office for well over a century. This particular grant still has the valued Land Seal attached and is an official period document that displays well. I cannot stress enough display value of this grant coming from my personal presidential collection. It would look regal framed in your collection or office and make a great Civil War association piece as well. The really interesting part is that I will leave it up to the buyer to do some further research of the land sale and those who have signed it. From time to time, a real treasure is found in these grants, in either a personally signed presidential autograph signature, or one of a difficult historical figure who signed the document. Do your homework and make a score! This one has a buy it now for those who know quality.
