A fine used 1840 1d Black from Plate 1b, lettered PD with four good margins and tied bright red maltese crosses to mourning lettersheet (contents removed) with clear London dispatch datestamp of 9 FEBRUARY 1841 - the Last Official Day of use of the red maltese cross, used to and saleeer in Oxford. Very scarce usage.
