This very large finely engraved original antique copper-plate engraved map of The Pacific Ocean - including Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia and most of North & South America - by W & A.K. Johnston was published in the General Atlas, 1845.
The Johnston\'s were one of the master publishers of fine engraved and lithographed maps during the 19th century - this map is no exception. (Ref: Tooley; M&B)
