1847 Roger Bros Grape Vintage Silverplate 52 Piece Set Serves 8 Mono w Box

This is a nice set of silver plate flatware in the Vintage pattern with clusters of grapes introduced in 1904 by 1847 Rogers Bros. The silverware are monogrammed with an old English letter, cannot make it out clearly. And it comes with a hand painted storage box, I doubt this is the original box.

This set includes:

8 Forks 7”

8 Fish and Salad Forks 6-3/4”

8 Hollow handled Knives 9”

8 Teaspoons 6”

8 Fruit Orange Spoons 5-3/4”

8 Oval/Place Soup Spoons 7-1/4”

3 Tablespoons/Serving Spoons 8-1/4”

1 Sugar Tongs 4-3/8”

Everything and the box weigh 8-1/2” pounds, together.

The box is 16-1/2” long x 4” tall x 11” wide.

All the pieces are marked, “1847 Rogers Bros,” with hallmark, “XS” some have “Triple,” or “Quintuple” following. Only the knives are marked on the blade, “Insico Stainless.”

This set is in very good used estate condition. There are scratches commensurate with age and use. There are some minor nicks to a few bowls of spoons. The box is in good estate condition. There are some scratches to it, but it still has its uses. Please, look at the pictures closely for condition. Please disregard any obvious reflections from the surrounding picture taking area.
