1847 Rogers Bros Daffodil Silver Plate Silverware Flatware Set. For SaleI'm selling this item for a relative that is the executor of an estate. These are items we felt were too specific to draw attention and buyers at the estate sale. So we are placing them on in the hopes of reaching a wider audience.
This is a Rogers Bros. 1947 flatware set that comes in a beautiful wooden case. there are 69 total pieces to this set. it appears that this set was purchased incomplete and added to. the coctail forks (second to the farthest right) aren't matching but they are Reed & Barton and they are stamped with Hotel continental, there are 8 of these forks total. the other odd looking forks on the far right are F.G. E.P.N.S. made in Sheffield, England. there 6 of these forks total. I don't believe the steak knives in the center are original as well (there are 5 of them total). The rest are Rogers Bros. Daffodil designed. they appear to have been used very little, but probably haven't been polished in decades. The wooden case has a few imperfections, but considering it's age i'd say it looks fantastic.
