This is an all original and very nice condition 1/4 plate daguerreotype photograph from the 1850s era...features a portrait of a well dressed young man wearing a neat beard...image is clean with a small typical halo around the edge...it has its brass stamped matte and is in the original leatherette case...case all intact and has floral design...no names or identification...overall its 4 1/2\" x 3 3/4\".....last image shows how it disappears..looks and displays well and is guaranteed original and authentic ....check listing for other interesting 19thc daguerreotypes and photos....Shipping is via USPS in US and overseas…...always glad to combine on multiple buys when possible
