Recently found in a Bath Maine estate with other early to mid 19'th century documents of commerce and nautical interest, we are offering what appears to be a stampless letter stamped New York Ship, report and offering from the Greenway & Co. shipping merchants out of New York and Liverpool reporting and offering of trade with Rio de Janeiro Brazil.The document is in generally good to very good condition with the requisite amount of wear one would expect to find with a document of this age. some holes and tears.The report gives info on available exports, shipping relationships, political climate that includes the current state of affairs of the slave trade and the Brazilian and British governments attempts to limit it.The document measures 16 1/2 " by 11"unfolded.
