Created just four years after the War of the Sonderburg between the Protestants and Catholics leading to a strong Federal Swiss Government, this 155 year old, hand colored map is very worthy of study.

The scans include the entire map, the area around the Lake and city of Geneva up to Lausanne, the area the Lake and city of Zurich and a detail of the view of \"MONT BLANC - NEARLY THREE MILES ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE SEA\".
