1856 Va Letter Mother To Son Vmi Cadet Fulkerson Family, Preston's Black Man For Sale
This folded letter looks like the kind that was once with an envelope, but the envelope is long gone.It is a two page letter written by'mother, Margaret L. Fulkerson', to 'Dear Abram'.The dateline is March 23, 1856.
Abram Fulkerson was a VMI cadet in the 1850's. His family lived in the Washington county, VA area.
