A beautiful large indistintclyn signed and dated 1857 french oil on canvas depicting soldiers firing a cannon. The work has superb provenance from the Naval & Military Exhibition which was held by the Corporation of London and included artists such as Detaille, Meissonier etc in the french section. This work we think is signed but we just can\'t read it - a stunning piece.
