The Letter is a "True Copy of Record" of a Power of Attorney - appointing Duncan Turner of the County of Decatur and State of Georgia by Jane Parker and Emen Parker of Duncan Turner of Decatur County Georgia. . . the Same is on record in the county of Washington and State of Florida. *The only part of the Seal we can make out is: "CIRCUIT COURT". **The county of Decatur GEORGIA and the county of Washington FLORIDA are in close proximity of one-another, and guessing the parties mentioned in the Letter were living in both of those locations.CONDITION: The 1860 CIVIL WAR era LETTER from WASHINGTON COUNTY FLORIDA has: wear/tear (mainly at the top), aging, bends, and soiling.
