1860 Copper medal featuring portrait of John C. Heenan, American Champion. He fought,Thomas Sayers, British bare-knuckles boxing champion in Farnborough, England on April 17, 1860.
The match ended after 42 rounds in a draw after injury to Sayer's arm. Sayers subsequently retired from boxing.
