I am still at the Hospital I am detailed here as second nurse.I draw all the diet for the Barracks and give it out to the men.I like it very well I don’t have anything else to do.I think I will stay here all winter.I saw Bill Barns at Camp Copeland just as drunk as usual.Dick Morris that used to live on Aaron Millers place is my company when we was at Washington City…The Widow Gordon’s son Bill has enlisted in the third Maryland Cavalry…Dies off very fast here there is five or six buried every day…they was all around us we was in line of battle four or five times…John Dankfeiit has a leg shot off…
