This is a patriotic Union clasped hands flask with American Flag and cannon that was made in in the early 1860s to help promote the war effort and cause of the Union Army when the Civil War broke out.

UNION weakly emb on front above clasped hands....13 stars boldly embossed, but the shield, clasped hands and wreaths are a weak strike

The back has a bold embossed cannon facing to the right and cannonballs with an American Flag....this side is a better normal strike

.....Hand blown in mold, bimal....early key mold smooth base.....crude applied lip.....rich bluish aqua....pint....7 3/4\"tall....Sparkling attic mint condition with no chips or damage. A shiny clean flask with no haze. This flask is an attic find and was never tumbled or cleaned....it just has a weak strike on the front UNION side.
