You are offerding on an excellent 1862 CIVIL WAR REBEL LETTER FROM A WIFE(SARAH TYLER) TO HER HUSBAND IN BATTLE. This letter has some wonderful content as the wife talks over her knowing that the war will not be over soon because of BATTERIES OF ARTILLERY being brought in along with more regiments. It is obvious from the wording that she is from the SOUTH. She talks of her neighbors Husband dying in battle and a friends leg being wounded. I am listing several CIVIL WAR LETTERS and DOCUMENTS for sale.
