We were taken care of by some 5 Charitable very Deutche catholic Sisters. The catch was we had to pay our bill out of our own pocket..........I was bedfast some 8 or 9 days only, very sick with Typhoid Fever. Our doctor said we had excellent medical attendance and Number 1 nurses..I improved rapidly..........We were in the third story in a very nice light roomy room, nice beds. The Sisters kept it very clean..................."...Letter was written by Private Pembroke S, Scott, Company B., O.V.I. Comes with a transcription and a note or two about the letter.
