Here is a nice little antique bible dated 1863. The size is roughly 6.5 x 3\". As you can see, there is not in mint condition. The cover is attached, but worn on the interior seams (and needs to be handled with care). The cover boards are scuffed and there are pieces missing from the top and bottom of the spine. Please examine photographs and offer accordingly. The gold leaf pages are in very good condition, and are a uniform cream/off-white with text that is easily legible. The previous owner\'s name- E.A. Allen-- is embossed on the cover, and is also handwritten on the interior page: Lydia Allen. An internet search revealed a person by this name as being born in Dover, New Hampshire, so this could possibly be the same person. She made some light pencil notations on the pages, but they do not interfere with the reading of the text. Please ask any questions prior to offerding. Thanks, and good luck.
