Sickels, Daniel. New York: Clark & Maynard 1864. 1st edition.This is the scarce Civil War Era 1st edition of Daniel Sickel's Freemason's Monitor. Original wallet style leather binding with catch and flap system,with gilt title on the top of the flap (flap nearly detached and split away, but held by some leather at the corner; catch slip lacking). Otherwise light external wear, light splitting to spine, gilt page edges, interior stained a bit, some pages shaken and a few nearly detached in front, content with many woodcuts. Pencilling on rear EPs by members of the Rogers family, else unmarked. Good luck!
