1870 Ogdensburg & Lake Champlain Railroad Annual Pass Van Horne:
DESCRIPTION: Vintage annual pass issued by the Ogdensburg and Lake Champlain Railroad in 1870 to W. C. Van Horne, at the time superintendent of the Southern Division of the Chicago and Alton Railroad, but later president of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Printed by the National Bank Note Co., N.Y. Signed by D. W. Brown, general superintendent. The back contains the usual terms and conditions statement.
The Ogdensburg and Lake Champlain Railroad connected Ogdensburg and Rouse's Point, in New York, a distance of 118 miles. The railroad eventually became a part of the Rutland Railroad.
CONDITION: This pass is in very good condition with some toning along the edges.
