A superb circa 1875 Japanese Fukagawa Koransha vase with exquisite decoration and form. The vase measures 25.5cm (10 inches) tall. The piece is signed on the bottom. The condition is excellent with the only issue being a minor manufacturing flaw under the base (see pics.) The vase is from a recent estate and I have not cleaned it, the inside is a bit dirty and there is a tiny spot of green paint in one area (the sleeve of the scholar close to the child.) The small bit of paint is easily removed and the inside would be easily cleaned, I will leave this to the new owner. This is a fine example of Fukagawa porcelain and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Please contact me with any questions.Payment must be received within 3 days.
