Very Rare 1881 Antique Stock Certificate, Amalgamator Company From Denver, Co:
Very rare Antique stock certificate. The Dry Placer Amalgamator Company. It’s dated 19 JULY 1881. I can't find out how many actual shares of this stock were sold. Seems a lot of mining companies went out of business after a mining strike. This company had a machine that could mine Gold without the use of water and they would take it to a mountain top or ravine and start mining. They also sold mining equipment out of Denver, Colorado. Condition: It has two vertical folds that looks like it was folded and refolded numerous times. The edges are worn but the certificate is intact as shows it’s age. It has the look like a prospector and his wife took this mining and kept it in their jacket.
This sale is for as is condition and does not suggest this item is impeccable. So to be antique its 100 years old or older and Vintage is 50 years to 100 years.
In addition this stock was never canceled or sold, or transferred.
Shipped with USPS First Class envelope.
