The author writes in his introduction: \"My heart originally desired to add a translation and commentary in the language of this land in order to benefit our youngsters, however the heart is dependent on the pocket… therfore my work leaves the print-shop without the translation.\" The Polish-born author converted to Christianity only to return to Jewish observance soon after immigrating to America in 1876.First Edition. Arnold Bogumil David Ehrlich was a \"Bible critic; born in Volodovka, near Brest-Litovsk, Russia, Jan. 15, 1848. Educated at the universities of Leipsic and Berlin, he later became assistant librarian of Oriental books in the Royal Library in Berlin. In 1878 he emigrated to the United States, settling in New York city, where he still (1903) resides. (EJ 1906)

For multiple purchases, we usually use Priority Mail, a flat rate envelope for $32 ($22 to Canada) can fit 3 Regular sized books and a flat rate box for $70 ($48 to Canada) can fit 8-10 books of average size. A large flat rate box for $93 ($60 to Canada is available as well and can fit up to 18 books, depending on size. Oversized books are more expensive to ship, please ask for shipping quote for multiple books in advance to prevent any misunderstandings. International postage costs are subject to USPS yearly rate increases.


RETURN CUSTOMERS: Return customers get 7%off every order, from the second shipment and on. This is not deducted automatically, so please request an invoice and we\'ll send one over asap.
