ANTIQUE VANITY NAIL 10 PC SET PEARLIZED GREEN & CELLULOID + ORIGINAL CASE

Era: 1885 -1920

THE VANITY SET: Pearlized, green celluloid layered withbakelitemirror with beveled edges. 10 Piece set includes: Glove stretcher/Shoe Button/ Corset Lacing Tool(this is why I think it is 1885 - 1920 because of the Lacing Tool) ,Nail Buffer in Case,Metal Nail File, Beveled hand mirror, Hair Brush, Coat Brush, Comb, Shoe Horn, Two Green Glass Jars. All tools are in good condition with some tarnishing on metal parts and only a couple of blemishes on the celluloid handles. Hand healed mirror is in good condition with a few surface spots due to age. Oval mirror has beveled edge. Impressed design on backs is in good condition with only a few places where the antiquing has come off.

THE ORIGINAL CASE: Case measures 27\" x 12\". Inside case is lined in pearl satin fabric which is discolored and frayed in places but the original box is considered \"thrown in\" \"as is\" to the sale and

This is a lovely set. It includes the following pieces:

2 Green glass trinket boxes each with Celluloid lids)

These are in lovely condition considering they are so old.Box isdefinitivelyshowing it\'s age and considered \"thrown in\" to the sale as is. There is wear to the accents and bristles is missing from one of the brushes, but the other brush is fine. Rust is on the nail file and shoe lace hook set. Would look amazing on a dresser!!!! A beautiful piece of personal history at 100 or so years old..
