1888 Thomas A. Edison Standard Phonograph W/speaker Horn ,13 Discs , Working For SaleUp for sale is this highly collectible Thomas A. Edison Standard Phonograph made in 1888 that is in very good physical condition and working order. The phonograph has a serial no. S168731 on the brass plaque attached to the face of the machine. The phonograph has it's hand crank intact that winds the machine and the on/off lever puts it in motion. The thirteen (13) Edison blue and black record cylinder disks with their original cartons are in good condition with no chips or cracks to keep them from being used and played. The rich oak dove-tailed case with it's handle has the usual side latches that lock it for safe carrying. The case measures 13" wide by 12" high and with the 13 records weighs 23 lbs. before packaging. Included with this Edison phonograph is the beautiful Thomas A. Edison Standard speaker horn that is in royal blue with eight (8) hand-painted peonies and leaves over the ten (10) sections. The speaker horn weighs just over 3 lbs. before packaging and will be shipped in a separate carton due to it's size. The buyer will as mentioned above be charged for two separate cartons and the shipping charges via Fedex Ground will be charged accordingly. A great find for the collector of these Thomas A. Edison phonographs or for the buyer who wants a very collectible 1888 Thomas A. Edison Standard Phonograph with hand-painted Thomas A.
