Here is a wonderful dated 1899 McLoughlin Bros. Logomachy game in its original box with a complete set of cards and instruction pamphlet. The box measures 6 7/8\" by 4 7/8\" by 1 1/4\" deep. It made of a thick cardboard and has some wear at the corners and edges, and is missing one side of the inner liner. Overall still strong and the lettering and decoration is in very good condition. The set has 67 cards with colorful blue birds on the alphabet side. In addition, there are 5 prize cards, each with a different graphic. All cards have soft blue stork designs on the backs. The cards are basically intact with no rips, but there is some edge wear and bending here and there. The four page rules pamphlet is mellowed with age and has an inch and a half split on the fold line. Still, generally a very attractive old set!
