1890's Royal Worcester Pheasant Dish Birds Head & Wings Detail Quite Rare~ For Sale
SO OLD AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR THIS LOVELY DISH BY ROYAL WORCESTER, I BELIEVE IT DATES TO APPROXIMATELY 1899 OR SO, IT IS ARTIST SIGNED BUT HARD TO MAKE OUT FOR IT WAS SIGNED IN THE SAME GOLD AS IS IN THE IMAGE AND DONE WITH A FINE BRUSH STROKE, WHEN I HAVE A WEE MINUTE I WILL TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT, I BELIEVE I SEE DAVIS BUT CAN'T BE SURE, IT MEASURES 7" LONG, 5" DEEP AND IS APPROX 1 3/4" HIGH TO INCLUDE THE BIRDS HEAD. PS.....I KNOW RESERVES ARE NOT POPULAR BUT SINCE I CANNOT FIND THIS ANYWHERE IN MY BOOKS OR ON THE INTERNET TO FIGURE OUT ITS VALUE A RESERVE IT IS.
