Father Christmas holding a Snow Covered Tree and Presents

German Chromolithograph from the very early 1890s, or earlier.

Father Christmas in red suit, with white fur trim.

White fur hat on his head.

Sack of toys on his back, and in his hands is a snow covered tree.

This was used in the making of paper and tinsel ornaments and also used on top of lebkuchen cookies as a decoration.

Again, an amazing amount of detail.

These are from our personal collection, started over 45 years ago, and now that we are on in age (old), we feel it is time to pass theseon to new care-takers who will treasure them and carry them into the next generations. Some were used in books, some in articles, and some for museum exhibtions. They have been stored in a surveyor's chest, away from the light, and also in a totally smoke free environment as a cigarette has not ever been smoked in our home.

There is nothing wrong other than age. These being listed tonight arein very good shape.They arevintage, notreproductions. I guarantee that.
