RARE - 1892 COLUMBIA LADIES SAFETY BICYCLE in " BARN FIND" condition.. Features: 28"steel rims that will accept modern reproduced 28" single tube pneumatic tires,scissors springs and link armson front forks forsuspension. Retains original Kirkpatrick saddle, 2nd pattern Ewart detachable link chain, front fork hand tightened locking bracket for parking bicycle against a wall or fence so it doesn't roll and fall when parked, Columbia script ball bearing pedals, original chain guard, nice legible nameplate, rear axle mounting step. Missing fenders,hand grips and brake linkage.
Great candidate for a restoration, for the lady rider who wantsa unique bicycle or fordisplay "as is" showing it being a survivor for the last 126 years!!!
